Mondays are my longest days, so the thought of actually cooking something can seem paralyzing—that’s when I turn to the smoothie. You can pack it full or fruit and veggie servings, blend and voilà! And this one contains moringa, which seriously makes me feel better when I drink it.
Tonight, I turned to this smoothie as my dinner, and I’m a person who likes to eat food to fill full, but I felt plenty full after this drink. Enjoy.
1 medium-sized banana
½ cup berries (I used a mix of blackberries and blueberries)
1 pluot (this is like the plum’s cousin, use a plum if this fruit intimidates you or you can’t find it)
¼ cup Bob’s Red Mill vanilla protein powder nutritional booster
1 tablespoon Artisana raw pecan butter
1 cup spinach
1 single serving package pure moringa powder (I used Kuli Kuli brand)
1½ cups So Delicious cashew milk, unsweetened
½ cup ice (I like my smoothies ice cold)
Place all ingredients in blender in order listed, except for the ice. Blend completely. Add ice. Blend. Serve immediately.
